About Us |
Our company, SJC Creations was founded in 1989. We started out as a BBS (Bulletin Board Service) in San Francisco, and soon after moved to San Jose and changed our name to SJC Creations. BBS systems were the precursor to what is now done on the internet. You would dialup a machine local to you. They had files online to download, some (like us) also offered email services. We continued that enterprise for a number of years with a usership well over 1000 in the bay area. But BBS's lost fashion and we decided to move on to a services group. In 2003 we moved the entire operation from San Jose to Las Vegas. Now we are a local group handling customers needs. Currently SJC Creations is involved with services to help you manage and correct problems with your home PC/MAC, PC/MAC upgrades, home network issues with standard networks or wireless networks, web page design, and web site hosting (including email for the domains). We have collectively had over 20 years experience in the computer industry. We use Linux as our server technology. We have one of the latest versions of Apache as the web server. Code development for the clients is done with Macromedia tools like Dreamweaver and Flash. As well as Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation. Our office is located in Central-North Las vegas.
